The Cleft and Craniofacial Team at St. Mary’s provides a specialized, interdisciplinary, and family-centered approach to treat patients with craniofacial conditions. As an American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association (ACPA) accredited program, we are committed to diagnosing and treating your child as he/she develops and grows throughout every developmental stage. We hold our treatment standards to the highest possible level. Each health care provider is dedicated to using science and evidence-based research as a foundation for clinical decisions in the treatment of our patients. We are equally committed to treating your child with the highest compassion and supporting you throughout the entire process.
The Cleft and Craniofacial Team at St. Mary’s represents a group of specialists dedicated to delivering comprehensive, interdisciplinary, individualized care to patients with cleft lip and/or palate as well as other craniofacial differences. Under the leadership of Dr. Isaac L. Wornom, III, past president of the American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association (ACPA), a unique team has been created. Our team consists of handpicked, pioneering specialists in surgery, dentistry, speech therapy, and psychology, to name a few.
